91 si civic 0bd 1 jumper CEL light?

K, I have a 91 si with a gsr swap, the CEL light has been coming on, and I don't know how to check the codes for it, it has a boomslang converter harness obd0 to obd1, the ecu is a chiped p28, the engine is obd1.

I just need to know how to check the codes. Thanks.

i may be wrong. but i believe there is a 2 pin plug near the bottom right of your glovebox. jump the connections with a paperclip or whatever, and the cel should flash on your instrument cluster giving you the codes.

On most ecu jumper harnesses you will have 2 wires usually Orange & blue for checking cel's but in this case Boomslang doesn't wire theirs up that way.

Heres what they have on their installation instructions:

Check Engine Light (CEL) codes can be checked by jumping your
vehicle’s factory 2-pin timing adjusting connector. This
connector is near the driver’s side shock tower on 1988-1989
vehicles and in the passenger side interior foot-well area on​

1990-1991 vehicles.

shoulda got a harness from rywire.. just touch the blue and orange wires together and boom! your checking trouble codes

i have a rywire harness but i don't remember seeing an orange or blue wire.. hmmm i'll have to investigate now lol.

lol yea theres a blue wire and an orange wire in the subharness. you can wire them to a toggle switch to flash codes on the dash..ive bought 2 of these jumpers already..real easy install

i have a jumper harness that comes with 4 sensor and a orange and blue wire. Were do I hook this up to?

I have a ef si ecu jumper to obd1 for a z6, there are four sensor that came with it and a orange and blue wiring that I am not sure were to hook it up to.
