Looking to buy something new, tired of driving junk.
Must be able to fit 3 people.
Must be 4wd, with at least some ground clearance.
Probably will be automatic for commuting.
Gas mileage is of consideration because of daily driver duty/commuting.
Must be able to have a hitch for small trailer with snowblower or lawn tractor.
Low interest rates for well qualified buyers is a nice bonus.
Probably looking in the 25k range as that appears to be where my options exist.
Drove CRV and Element.
Good - Nice cars, hondas, hitch-able, decent mileage, low interest rates .9 CRV and 1.9 element
Bad - Bullshit on demand AWD system, very big (would love to buy a new 2 door tracker or samauri, even a 2 door tahoe if they still made them)
I like constant 4wd because I tend to drive in some very adverse conditions in NY winters, must go to work during tax season, also have 2 people to transport with me, thus 3 seats.
Considering tacoma excab, rav4, wrangler
tacoma, truck, real 4wd, runs forever, fits 3 people decently comfortable, ok mileage
have not come across any low interest rate offers
even during the toyotathon sale, no reason to offer good rates on a best seller
rav4 - bullshit on demand AWD
wrangler - no experience with them, seem to hold value well, decent to shitty mileage, i think they have real 4wd
