It was way too public knowledge that, "the first year, they aren't doing income verification!" That I don't feel bad for - the subsidies were clearly laid out based on income. If you understated your income to obtain a bigger credit, you should get dinged on the back end.

Its a poorly thought out, under funded government program, that wasn't needed in the first place. The destitute, disabled, uninsurable, and special needs persons were already on the governments dime.
