Hey Guys,

What wiper blades are you running? Anything better than Bosch Icons?

I'm due for replacement and last few sets have been Bosch Icon's. Last set went two years. Probably 20K on them. I'm starting to get the permanent streaks so its time. Tried cleaning to no avail. The truck sits outside all the time and is getting driven less and less right now. Wife's car has OE blades on them. She wants those....

Some family members swear by the cheap ones from Costco. I think they're Goodyear and can be as low as $5 each. Last about 6-12 months they say and then they toss and get a new set.

Here is what my past experiences have been:
Trico = Garbage
Anco = Garbage
Bosch = Expensive ($40)
Goodyear = OK (Haven't used in prob 8 years)
RainX = OK. Gimmicky Been some years.

i use bosch icons.

Use to run Bosch Icons, they don't have right connection for my mk6 golf, I have switched to Valeo, or factory VW

Contemplating trying a silicone or teflon insert next to see how they do.

I use the Napa exact fit. They go on sale sometimes for like 6 bucks. I get a year or so with them. Rainx are crap.

yes! same, been going to VW for blades for that car. but the other two have icons lol

Bosch Icon or OEM inserts if the car still has the OEM arms.

We replace with valvoline brand or napa exact fit at the dealer.

I usually just pick whatever one is cheaper for my cars.

Yes, I agree that Bosch is expensive, but I am always ready to overpay for this brand, as for me this is all covered by their quality and the fact that they last the longest.
