I've been flooded with mailers, calls, texts, etc.
(I think my area might be a swing state for house or senate seat, which explains the volume of political communications.)
I will be very thankful once this election is over.

same. Luckily, they all show up as spam and i don't pick up.

On the plus side, i did take a couple calls, and all have them have been pretty 'chill'. Like, one guy was like, hey it's mike from blah blah's campaign and I'm just reaching out to make sure you're informed of what's going on and what's at stake. Did you pre-vote early?

no.

Have you heard of X? do you think he has a similar mindset to you?
can we count on your to help us?

awesome have a great day and spread the word to get out there. I'll go bother someone else for a min! have a good day.

I'm ok with that.

I don't want the calls that say "X is going to doom ruin the world; vote for Pedro and all your wildest dreams will come true."

Well, here we are, in the aftermath.

Locally - i'm not surprised by outcomes. All the career incumbents won, again, some for like the 15th time. ridiculous. We'll never get fresh blood in there until these hags die. It's quite sad.

Nationally, I am a bit surprised. I really didn't think trump was going to win. He alienated too many moderates, women, etc to hold it down. But, it looks like he will be our next president.

I've been following the race on YouTube via channels like Election Time, Race Report ect who go into great detail about polling data and other election data points..They all had Trump over the 300 Electoral Vote mark....It seemed to me Harris never stood a chance. Very Happy with the outcome. What amazes me is that Biden got 81 million votes in 2020 and Harris is like at 66 million votes. What happened to 15 million Democrat Voters?

I never got registered at this address, so I couldn't vote.

Not like this national level dichotomy was worth it either way. Both choices suck, and all my bills and taxes keep going up either way.
