Well I just got a hold of a very clean 72 AN600 it has been in a barn for the last 20 years it was parked in 84. has very little rust and could probaly be running very easly. It was parked suposivaly when some one was doing a tune up and broke one of the spark plugs off flush with the head. Easy fix with a easy out and a drill. now i cant decide what i want to do with it. just wanted some of your thoughts and ideas. keep in mind that this car is very clean it still has the plastic from the factory over the door panels and the seats are great.

1. restore it and enjoy the vintage honda.
2. large cc bike motor and convert to rwd with a gold wing or mini sprint axle
3. JDM k car swap lite a 800cc boosted honda or some thing.

One of the other problems that i have whis is a small one but i can decide how i want to fix it is. the brakes are froze up do to the old non silicone brakefluid and rusted calipers.

1.Rebuild master cylinder and calipers and run new brakes
2. buy a willwood or other aftermarket mastercylinder and use some brakes off a mini sprint. yes i know your thinking that is a small brake. keep in mind this car only weighs in at 900 lbs my friends and i lifted it on to the trailer because we forgot the ramps.

my plan is to do some autoX and drive this thing to see the heads turn as people try to find out what it is. (every one calls it a old mini cooper now)

Give it to me :)

I have a set of Panasports for that car if you're interested. 14"x6"

other than that, I would say go hipo quad carb if you can, and if you can do the motorcycle engine thing, all the more power to ya !

i belive that i can do the bike motor i would like to do like a mid 80s 11-1200cc honda. with some slide carbs. you can get the parts to change the output sprocket to a spicer u joint and then you can run just about any rearend you want maby one from a legend race car.

and the wheels on that car are 12" by 2.5 inches and that scares the shit out of me.

Its a Gem..

I have a 1971 AN 600, found in a Barn here in Northern Minnesota, stored since 1981, engine siezed but it is 99% original, and worth about 7,000.00, Im changing out the seats to make a bit a luxury, got a set of sport seats for 149.00 each, other than that, Im not changing a thing! and the tires and rims are 145-10, and yes thats a 10 inch rim, just like a wheel barrel
