I own a 92 dx hatch, automatic and I want to wire a tach in before my swap. What color is the tach wire and where is it located? sorry this thread is not 100% swap related.

I am new to doing swaps, and for that, any mechanical work at all. I have a 5th gen hatch, unfortunately automatic. I am doing fiberglassing and other work on the interior, and maybe a body kit this summer, but next winter I want to turn my 102 hp stock automatic into a 400hp+ turbo'd machine...

IMO, body kits are up to the individual. I apreciate a nice body kit on almost any car. I agree though that it is a car, not a space shuttle, so don't try to make it look like one. Being amazed by a car's looks AND performance is truely unique, but there's nothing like a stock bodyed civic...

I am still looking at doing a swap into my 92 hatch automatic. Which swap/auto conversion would be easiest and cheapest off the hop? Which motor would have better potential for whp with upgrades?
