how do you run such high CR? i just did a swap with 12.2:1 in my sohc vtec and it was knocking bad at 1300 rpm. it had a chipped ecu that ran rich and thats it. adjusting the ignition timing made no difference.

i heard when you chip p28's, the programs run extremely rich. how much would all of this affect your gas mileage in regular everyday driving? also how much does this running too rich all the time have any affect on the performance and can it eventually ruin a motor? thanks

im lookin at the Honda CTR N1 crank pulley since i know about all those aluminum ones causing bottom end problems. Anybody have opinions on them or facts. If they are made by honda they should be ine , balaced, and dampered right? thanks

will a VAFC or a AFC help at all with the whole running rich part. or am i just better off running a VAFC on a stock p28 instead of getting the chip? and no im not going DFI or hondata, funds are not there yet and need ecu for my swap.
