its a 00 b16a2 motor. He had the hole motor rewired over to obd1. So i thought i would need a obd1 distributor and not an 0bd2 off the motor. Correct me if im wrong ? ?

as for the tps input. mine was busted when i did the swap.. so i put a hole throttle body on from a newer style ls motor. Is the voltage different ? can i still use this tps ?

i bought a 00 b16a2/obd2 swap off a buddy of mine, funny feeling tells me he just gave me a distributor to sell the motor. Hes shady like that. The one i have now has one of the three arms cut off to make it fit. Which dizzy can i use that will bolt right up? ? thanks for the help.

i would check the code, but as soon as i turn the car off .. the engine light goes off as well .

i would love to know what your problem is because mine does the same thing. I have a 00 b16a2 swap in my 93 ex with a p72. Except my speedometer only wrks when it wants to . I did a full tune up and it still hesitates some times on acceleration.

its your mounts. which mounts did you use.

mine was the tps, took a throttle body of a 97 ls... wrks fine now

started the motor tonight , thanks to a buddy of mine Thanks Cory! i do have an eratic idle though.. i believe its the tps sensor . Will replace and update.

you could of put the spring on wrong for the release bearing. Mine actually broke off inside once! that sucked. .

What wires need to be ran ? I currently have a 0bd1 p72 which may be running the motor for alittle bit. I am getting the p30 later. Also what needs to be ran for Knock sensor? and where is it located? My car is an ex so im already ran for vtec. Any help ?

tps vlts set at .4 i believe

so obd1 p30

currently have p72 ecu obd1 in my coupe, havent started car yet. p28? p30? chipped. should i keep the p72 ?

thanks for the diagram, but my motor is obd2. We just got emissions in pa but not neccesary. I will just need to get over there and start this beast. thanks

i would check that but i have a carbon fiber hood. I was told that i will not use the hoses from the charcoal canister. So thats a start

lol.. im trying to make another clean engine swap dog. but your help with the exhaust will need to be attended to this wkend for sure.
