B16A2 head build....(prepare for some long wind)

I have to e-mail the guy who is doing the work and will get back to you on that. I should be able to send the head in and get the work done but as far as the plans being the same, I will have to consult my consultant, Calesta, and plot things out one more time. haha I'm hoping the head work will...

B16A2 head build....(prepare for some long wind)

Would you believe I am still working on this? It's been an uphill battle to get anything done the past two and a half years and this is still in the works. I paid off the head work an eon and a half ago but never sent the head to the shop. Issues and priorities in life have kept me from getting...

    My 2004 SV650

haha...yeah man, I've been through a lot and am working on getting back into the swing of things. Thanks to Calesta, I may have something in the works. I just need to get my car running first! Ugh. That's been a pain but I am not about to jack your thread and talk about that. haha It's...

B18A1 Cam & Turbo or Different engine

Hey wilder. Have you figured out how much you would like to spend? That will help you greatly in meeting your goals. A turbo set up will cost a good dollar or two but if that is what will make you happy, then it will be worth it in the end. What shape is the engine in? Have you done anything to...

Things have been bad and I haven't...

    My 2004 SV650

That looks super sweet, Matt. I feel like I would be too clumsy and big for a bike though. haha Having something comfortable to sit on is definitely on my high priority list nowadays. :D

Oh wow! What happened to you? I am, shall we say, a bit messed up from the top down. haha My arthritis has gotten worst, the nerve damage in my back super sucks and well, that's almost all for now without going into super details.

    I'm kind of back!

Hi all! It's been...wow, a while since I have actually logged on. I was on Facebook for a while, met up with Calesta a few years ago, which was totally awesome and went through and am going through quite a bit in life. Nevertheless I miss you guys and I miss HS as a whole. I've gone through an...

    Sleeving Vs. Block Guard

This is why I appreciate others feedback around here. I learn something new all of the time. For quite a while I have always read that block guards cause hot spots and there for should not be used. That is a great definition, Kevin. Thank you.

    A/C Compatible Ramhorn manifold comparison...

It is especially nice when you not only trust the parts you are buying but also find a very reliable and knowledgeable person (with prior experience in this case) whom you are getting the parts from.

    Sleeving Vs. Block Guard

Golden Eagle is popular for sleeving, as well as Darton. Block guards, as anyone will tell you, will cause hot spots and restrict coolant flow. Money spent on sleeves, depending on your goals, is money well spent. Ask yourself, how much power are you wanting and would this be for a D or B...

    The HS workout thread...

Well put, Matt. Over the years I have ALWAYS figured something out. This knee thing is something new but I will get over the hump. I already have a workout planned for tomorrow, as well as checking out the P90 plyometrics CD (granted I can find it again) and seeing if I can get any ideas from...

    A/C Compatible Ramhorn manifold comparison...

No worries on the threadjack but Madracer hasn't been around since 2-24 this year. I chose Hondata because well, that's what my friend had to sell. haha Plus, I REALLY trust the guy's advice that is selling me most of the stuff for my build. Heck, I could have tuned on Crome too but again, it's...

    The HS workout thread...

Thanks, B. It didn't even occur to me to check out the Plyo video. It freakin' sucks to like to workout and not be able to do certain things at times. I'm going to try and do some cardio tomorrow, since I do not think my workout will be as extensive as other days. Let me know if you come up with...
