Hey Brian,
I figured out what the problem is. Its not the Manifold cause we surface each manifold before we ship them. but if you look closely, you will see that right underneath the second & fourth stud on the botton, there is a tab where the head meets the block. This is very rare for blocks...
Actually there are 4 Tial WG's now.
38mm
40mm
44mm
46mm
The new 44's are badass. Majority of the RevHard manifolds use a 2 bolt wg, which can use deltagate, tial 38, and turbosmart. I think RevHard now uses Turbosmart instead of Tial.
it really depends on the setup, how much power you are making, the size of your wheels and your redline. I personally like the b16, gsr, or type r. i would stay away from the LS.
im fine with a 420 whp street car. 13 psi is pretty low for that turbo. If i boost more, i would have worst traction than i do now. Also if i raced at the track, id hit 10/11 and get kicked off cause i dont have a cage cause its a daily driver. the limit of the turbo is about 750 hp and im using...
Anything is possible. but believe me, 500whp on a daily driver is just useless. I am putting down 420whp and i usually dont get traction till 4th gear. you are gonna need some high octane, im not sure what is availible around your area, but im tuned fine at 420whp at 13psi on 91octane. 500whp...
I personally do not recommend Drag. My first drag kit didnt come with the right IC piping, and I never got the right ones. They claim bolt on, but you have to knotch the block and cut here and there. My second drag kit, Yeah i know i should have learned the 1st time, the piping was completely...
It was actually a JDM GSR, so compression was pretty High, I just got a thicker HG, used a different turbo than the one the drag comes with, 310cc injectors, vafc, 255 hp fp, missing link, 12:1 fmu, tial wg and tial bov.
It all depends on how much power you wanna make and how much $$$ you wanna spend. List your goals. if you want little power, then just get a drag/revhard/fmax, but if you want big power then get a real kit. My integra has a drag kit, at 6 psi i put down 260. my civic has a full race kit, at 13...
once you take out the stock FP, you will see the difference. Believe me, it fits because I am using the Wabro 255 lph HP in my crx right now. The model # is gss 342.
