The engine only requires two sensors to limp. I believe it's CKP and TPS. with no tps, you'll get no fuel curve. The reason it did nothing when you unplugged it is because you're already at idle. hit the gas and you'll run so lean it'll hurt your engine and/or stall immediately.

THAT conversion isn't as difficult as it sounds, I just crammed a Euro R(OBDII) in my 95 Accord. If you do it, make sure you get an OBDI distributor and may as well buy like a P30 or P72 and put a Hondata in it to save wiring headaches.

Yes, you can use your Accord harness. Just make sure you match the OBD version of Distributor with the OBD version of intended ECU or you will run like a Harley.

Hey, would you mind going over what E85 might to in your car? Have you used it yet? Will it dick up your O2 sensor, etc? I think the last thing people want is to be running clean but popping a code at emissions, best thing to do in that case is disconnect the CEL light from the ECU . :)
