i have one range colder plugs and i have head studs. I am pushing alot of colant into the overflow tank. Do you think i should retorque the head studs.
my car is overheating now that it is turbo'd. It does just fine when i just drive it but it i send it into boost a couple times it starts to over heat and push all the coolant into the overflow. Also both the upper and lower rad. hoses are hot and tight. Don't know what it is somebody please...

the combo does work very well if you add type r pistons and at least gsr or type r cams. My friends si has a gsr bottom end with type r pistons and gsr cams and he blows the doors of of my other friends gsr hatch
you will need an obd2-obd1 conversion harness to do the swap besides that you will need a civic si driver side mount not sure about the rest but it will get the started If you have tools and you are decent at working on a car than swaps are not that hard
there are way too many factors to add in your driving skill, his driving skill, if you race 1/8 or 1/4 or street there are way too many factors but if you drive decent and his car just has bolt ons or is stock you should mop his car up

So i have a ls turbo and i am running the rev hard kit. i was told that i could run the walbro intank fuel pump with the fmu but then i heard that you are not supposed to do that you need the inline high pressure? Is this true or will i still be able to run the walbro
the car won't even start after the first time you start it each day. It is getting current to the tps. I just idles at like 2000 until the check engine light comes on then it is back to normal
my tps is somehow making the car idle at 2000 rpm and then when it finally kicks the code for the sensor the idle goes back down to 800 like norm. I have no idea what this is maybe a short but i don't know
i am getting a constant 5 volts to my tps sensor and the idle is everywhere but steady. If anybody has any information on what might be wrong please hook me up. The car ran fine before when the same motor was in there not turbod but now it just wants to be a total dick.

i think ls is good for boosting, the gsr is def. a better street tranny, but the itr & b16 trannies would just be a waste you would just sit and spin and the AVC-R BLOWS!
