There is fuel getting to the rail, but the guy used the JDM fuel rail and had a special fuel line made.
There engine cranks but does not start.

So I've done it again. I have a cold-engine knock (so it's not that bad, but still a knocking fetus)..
anyway, my buddy who used to be a mechanic at Honda SWEARS that I can replace the main bearing without removing the crank.
It sounds common sensical enough..
1) Drop oil pan
2) remove cap...
This engine has been sitting in my garage for too long.
I replaced the timing belt/water pump and all seals (have reciepts as well as old equipment....which looked in o.k. shape).
Compression (when last checked) was 255 across.
Looking for around 1100...

O.k. So I got the f20b in. Didn't change the timing belt because everything looked fine.
Took it out for a test drive and it was fine.
Adjusted the distributor and it seemed fine..got about a 1/2 mile down the road and there was an abrupt drop in power.. almost like the timing had been...

After I start the car it sounds fine...for about 30-45 seconds..
after that a 'knock' is heard bewteen 1500-2000 rpm. Above 2000 rpm there is no noise.
In the last few startups the knock has gotten progressively louder.
I tired using a stethoscope to locate the noise..but it seemed to be...
This is a really strange thing.
Whenever I hit VTEC the engine feels like it has a momentary drop in power (for about 200 rpms)...
any thoughts what may be causing this?
I have a field's..but haven't dicked around with the fuel supply or vtec engagement. I only put it in to kill my speed...
