Hello I am new to this forum. My 2004 CRV just blew up while driving it. As I find myself needing a new engine I have a few questions I could hopefully get answered by your forum.
Can I replace the 2.4 with any 2.4 from the Accord or Element if they are the Japan build?
What issues should I look for when buying a used motor? timing chains, ect....
As I see the used one starting @ $700 and going up from there.
Any recommended sites? I looked local and the prices are crazy high for a CRV 2.4 Japan build.
This is a need, not a want so any help would be awesome. Thank you in advance
