2024 VW GTI 380 S

had a banger of a weekend at TSMP with CART. we had another flawless time trial that included a tesla challenge as well as lots of wings and things cars! followed up by an autocross that featured our 2nd annual veteran and first responder runoff.

i set a new personal best in the GTI at TSMP of 1:27.3 and only took 9 laps for the day . it doesn't seem like alot but im finally getting over the bad habits on track from the veloster turbo. at AX i was 11th overall raw out of 62 drivers on a corvette course. not bad for a stock car

this coming weekend i am heading to FCSCC for their final event and the following weekend is our CART runoff.

today i went out to historic Lime Rock Park for the FCSCC championship runoff / season ender. it was a fantastic time in the GS 380 where i was an instructor to a really good novice for my work assignment. the stock GTI managed 3rd overall raw and 1st in pax.

they did autoX in b-paddock? not on the autox course?

So the thing about LRP is that it is unreasonably expensive, the paddock is much cheaper than the cloverleaf. They have been using the b paddock all year but are trying hard to find somewhere else.

yeah, it's always been super pricey there. Even the gokarts are just unaffordable. It's like $100 for 10 min.
