215-40-17 on Del Sol

does anyone know if 215-40-17's will fit on a del sol that has 2 3/4 H&R race spec drop springs -- right now i have 205-40-16's and they dont but wanted to check if anyone knows

Yes they will fit. No you will not be able to do u-turns.
