Hey everyone.

By this time last year I had already made it out to two or three lapping events. This year other priorities came up, so July 1st was the first time I took the car out. Touge.ca Motorsports has open lapping events every spring/summer/fall at a number of tracks around Southern Ontario (Canada). For those who aren't familiar with open lapping, it's not competitive racing. You are staggered into groups of novices, intermediate and experienced drivers. The purpose of the lapping is to essentially have fun driving your car on a race track. Although you're not racing head-to-head, you're still trying to stay ahead of the car behind you and catch the car in front of you. It's the driver's responsibility to recognize if they are slowing down the person behind them and point them by. It makes for great, and "safer", competition.

This event was held at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (formerly Mosport) at the Driver Development Track (DDT).

My car is a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si. I'll list the engine, transmission and other modifications below the video links.
