OK, well in another discussion it came up that if you took a jdm d16b and put any other head on it it would lose significant compression, The original thought was to build a high revving webber carbed non vtec 1.5 liter motor to compete with my friends built 1.3 liter european car....but thats another story

Has anyone built a motor of any series to really try to eeke as much power as possible out of 87 octane from Arco?
Revs make up for compression, and i can't think of a rev happier motor than a honda, so lets see what's out there.
