91 CIVIC DX B18A1 questions

ok so heres the deal..i dropped a b18a1 into my 91 hatch and im having a few problems. its a DX so i had to grab some 5 speed hubs off an si. not a problem. but then i heard that ill need to rewire my ecu harness for MPFI. so i downloaded the wiring schematic and i understand it. but my question is...would it be easier to do this with the original d series harness or use the harness from the b18?

On my other ED DX it used the original harness from the car

use the stock harness and convert it to mpfi. add 5 wires and move some others around, easy peazy.

Ok thanks. I figured that would be the easiest way to do it. I wanted to be sure though.
