Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, new to forums (couldn't find where to start a new thread) and this is my first swap! Got a 96 CX real cheap with a mini-me swap partway done:
D15b head (vtec
Z6 cam and gear (vtec
D15 intake
B16 throttle body
P06 ecu chipped to P28
stock Y7 block, tranny and injectors.
Got no power going to the pump or injectors. Tested relay, connections and grounding to all wires in the 7-pin relay and 32-pin ecu. Seems the ecu is bad but before I go further, since I'm jumping in "midstream" with this, I have a few questions:
- Do i need a v-tec ecu?
- How do I tell what ecu to get if the one I have is bad?
- Do I need to change the oil pressure and solenoid to vtec ones?
- What other parts should I include in the swap that haven't been done?
