i ran across a d16y7 dx motor cheap with low miles on and my question is how hard is it to wire a obd2 motor to obd1 car. i m wanting to know cuz my shit box d15b8 is going to hell in a hand basket

its not very hard at all

swap the injector plugs on your harness for the OBD-2 plugs
swap the distributor plugs on your harness for the plug on the OBD-2 harness
use your OBD-1 alternator or swap the plug for the OBD-2 alternator and run that
convert to a 4 wire O2 sensor
and use a P28

thats about it

im pretty sure you can get harness' now to switch obds.
