What's up guys. Just a quick question for all the techno geeks out there -

What do I need to play an AVI file? I have MS media player and Real player. Will those work? If not, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanx....

You should be able to use Windows Media Player. It might be encoded with DivX, in which case you'd need the DivX codec. It also could be XviD. Try to find out from your source which codec it's coded in.

Gotcha - I am downloading a copy of episode 3 and I have never fucked with an avi file. I don't really know a whole lot about video medias and such. I do know what divX is though. Thanx for the help Battle Pope....

No problem. Yeah, it's 80% probably DivX. If you don't have the codec it's free from DivX's site.

in the auto multimedia forum, theres a sticky with a codec pak. DL it.

use media player to open it
