B16 (99-00 SI) into 97' DX swap HELP!

Me and my friend are currently swaping a B16 into his 97' Hatch and we are having some problems, We are using the B16's Engine harness and ECU and we're now missing a plug for the ECU. Which engine harness are we supposed to use? we still have the stock DX harness. I appreciate all the help we can get. Thanks

What kind of harness/ECU came with the B16 and how do you know that you are missing a plug?

It came with 99-00 SI Harness and ECU, I'm missing a plug that goes to the ECU, it looks like 99-00 has a plug that comes from under the dash. but the 97' doesn't have it. Should I get a dash harness from a 99-00?

Your using the wrong harness. You need to use the cars harness and convert it to work on the 99 motor. the car is obd2a and will need to stay that way for it to work. You need to add in the vtec sol wire, the pressure switch and repin the iacv. Then get a obd2a to obd2b conversion harness to use that ecu.
