b16 crank pulley help

What the hell? :D

Never use anything other than an OEM Honda crank pulley on a street car. At best, your oil pump will fry. At worst, the added harmonic vibration will destroy your bearings and crank journals. Sell it and get a stock CTR N1 pulley. :)

thats what i was thinkin after i bought it....WHUT THE HELL?? any b series pulley will do righ?
 
I've always avoided that pulley because it doesn't look to be dampened. the lesser B motor pullies have a rubber layer that bonds the inner to the outer ring, which acts as a shock absorber, and that pulley clearly doesn't have that rubber in there, so is it in fact dampened? or just really well balanced?
