haha thread jacker!! it was me but my comp froze.. i bought an obx pulley for my b16.. but it doesnt have timing marks on it..how the hell do i set the timing w/o marks to reference?? use TDC??

What the hell?

Never use anything other than an OEM Honda crank pulley on a street car. At best, your oil pump will fry. At worst, the added harmonic vibration will destroy your bearings and crank journals. Sell it and get a stock CTR N1 pulley.

thats what i was thinkin after i bought it....WHUT THE HELL?? any b series pulley will do righ?

I've always avoided that pulley because it doesn't look to be dampened. the lesser B motor pullies have a rubber layer that bonds the inner to the outer ring, which acts as a shock absorber, and that pulley clearly doesn't have that rubber in there, so is it in fact dampened? or just really well balanced?

It comes pretty well balanced from the factory.

gettin that and an ARP crank bolt..dont have one to begin with so might as well get the good one
