B16 help

i have b16a4 engine can i put GSR pistons in it,if ok i want to know how much the compression.

this is acutally my next project and i'm using left over parts from my last project. Never gone boosted before so I'm not expecting any big numbers or anything but a gsr head and pistons with a b16 block I should be yielding a 9.1-9.4:1 cr. should be good to hold 10 lbs. pretty easy

The stock block can easily hold 300whp. How much power do you want to make? Or are you just concerned about a PSI number?

I really don't have any set goals. since I have all the parts laying around, it isn't costing me anything. I plan to use a dsm turbo set up so that won't cost much. besides that the only other thing I need is an extra tranny, being the only tranny I have is in my car now. So I guess my only real goal is to continue learning through repitition. No racecar for me this summer so building a boosted b16 is my new plan.

You should make part of your goal learning through research.

mind pointing me in the right direction then? I thought I had a pretty solid plan and was only looking at spending $800-$1000 to get it together and running

did i ever say that? no. just stating i have friends with similar set-ups. If i claimed to know everything then i wouldn't be doing this project as a learning experience like previously stated.
