this is acutally my next project and i'm using left over parts from my last project. Never gone boosted before so I'm not expecting any big numbers or anything but a gsr head and pistons with a b16 block I should be yielding a 9.1-9.4:1 cr. should be good to hold 10 lbs. pretty easyIt is possible, but why would you want to? =/
I really don't have any set goals. since I have all the parts laying around, it isn't costing me anything. I plan to use a dsm turbo set up so that won't cost much. besides that the only other thing I need is an extra tranny, being the only tranny I have is in my car now. So I guess my only real goal is to continue learning through repitition. No racecar for me this summer so building a boosted b16 is my new plan. The stock block can easily hold 300whp. How much power do you want to make? Or are you just concerned about a PSI number?
mind pointing me in the right direction then? I thought I had a pretty solid plan and was only looking at spending $800-$1000 to get it together and runningYou should make part of your goal learning through research.
did i ever say that? no. just stating i have friends with similar set-ups. If i claimed to know everything then i wouldn't be doing this project as a learning experience like previously stated.Seems you already know everything then...and at 19. How stereotypical.
Pretty much just google people running similar setups This usually leads to new information and such.
