B16 Torque

How can I put down more torque on a B16??? ...

How about boring it out? Getting some cams? Turbo? Most of the time, smaller engines cant make torque for shit, so they usually go FI.

cheapest way for a considerable price is probably using some ITR cams/springs/retainers ect. and get some nice headers/exhaust set up

go with a 4 into 1 header, and bore that baby out

go buy a LS or B20 block and strap ur Vtec head on it.

supercharger put outs about 40-60hp more plus 50lbs/torque. It would be sorta like a H22A power 190-200hp and 150-160lbs/torque.

turbo would put out more but that is a costly mod $$. Unless you go homemade turbo setup.

Wow... the misconceptions and misinformation is strong with this one. You DO realize that there are quite a few different supercharger and turbocharger setups out there, and that there is NOT just one type of SC that only puts out 40-60hp more or a turbo setup that only costs more than a SC and puts out more power, RIGHT?!

Keep you cat in.. well if its a street cruiser.. it needs the back pressure for high compression engines. but if your going boost. gut the cat and work the engine.
