yeah .. it related honda civic ( sixth generation) . Do you think the halfshaft B16 will be fitted or modification need to be done ?
If its like a 2000 Civic Sedan....swapping a B16A2 ain't that hard. Read on EK swaps and you'll find the info.
You will definitely need the B16A halfshafts
what do you think about the braking system .. front disc + rear drum .. any advice ??
My advise...brakes are fine for now. I tackle one project at a time
Is the car RHD or LHD? Where are you going to source the swap? Will it be the same side drive (steering wheel on same side)??
Also....please tell us the motor that's in it now. Says it on the engine block where it connects to trans....right near the radiator. Like d16z6 or d15b. I need to know if it's VTEC already.
You need (at least) the rear trans mount off the B16.....all the other D-Series mounts will work.
Once you got the B-Series rear trans mount........motor, trans, axles, and shift linkage will mount directly with no problems.
The motor is OBD2 (if it's a B16A2). Have you confirmed this?
What is the code on the B16A2 ECU?
If chassis and swap are OBD2....I believe you just use the B16A2 engine harness/ECU.....and take the old harness/ECU out. The engine harnesses should be one piece. Directly off sensors straight to the ECU

Thanks you for the tip .. I will check for the rear trans mount to be included
B16A engine second generation OBD 1 ECU code P30 with trans hydraulic
My chassis is OBD 1 P3s. I will check the engine harnesses to be in one piece . I attach a pic of both ecu . what do you think about ?
