honeslty, it's dead at 8200. Buy 8400, you almost might as well shift.

try going to -1 on the intake cam.
Certainly not when driving the car. It pulls right through 8k and into the 9's with ease, feels natural. Its still making 170whp at 9,200 rpm. My old motor I was shifting at 8,500; the torque fell off much faster on that motor.

I'm not planning on going back to the dyno anytime soon. Unless I get some different cams.

quick thought, what kind of dyno is this? dynojet? mustang?

what kind of dyno did you run the b16 on? same one?

Dynojet. Same dyno, same location, same tuner as the B16.

Wow, just saw your dyno for the first time... :(

You need this bottom end plus your cams:

Signed up for TTB next weekend at Infineon. Should be interesting; I'll be sure to get some incar footage.

Man.. its going to be a wet one this weekend. Might be picking up some hoosier wet's if they have them in my size at AIM.

Wet and cold. Got the hoosier rains. Sitting in 2nd in ttb with a best laptime of 2:39. :(

Down to a 2:36. 2.4s off the leader.

E85 affirmative.

Note: Hoosier wets ROCK in monsoon type rain fall. Once you get some heat in them that is. 1st session I spun 360 at the top of turn 4. Was still facing forward so just kept going. I think it happened so fast the corner worker didn't even notice because I did not get flagged or marked for a spin that session. :P

Finished 1st place TTB today. Woot! Beat 2nd by 3 seconds which was an EvoX. :) Will post some video later.

The car ran well this weekend. I did have a few setbacks.

1.) I seem to be leaking oil from the distributor I believe.
2.) That blue box from the Hondata S200; 2 wires broke off when I tried to wiggle them because of a CEL that wouldn't go away. Good thing we were delayed 40 minutes that first session. Had to spend like 30 minutes trying to fix that with duct tape. :D

The car seems to oversteer more than before. I'll post a clip later that shows me getting pretty crossed up in some Driftito action going opposite lock on the wheel. lol Managed to save her though.

All in all the car ran pretty damn well. And I must mention again those hoosier wets. Damn good tires in the rain.

duct tape holing your shift knob on
random wire holding your map sensor plug in
