B20/vtec Vs. Ls/vtec

is there a measureable horsepower advantage in building a cr/vtec, as compared to an ls/vtec? or, is the torque increase the only major advantage?

horsepower is the measure of torque at a certain rpm. it all depends on where you want to make your torque.

so, has anybody seen any dyno sheets comparing the two? i need to know if it will be worth the extra cash to build the B20

More displacement = more torque = more horsepower. Every custom build is different... but built equally, the larger displacement engine should put out more power.l
