that thing can't be accurate.

doesn't include tire size, gearing, power band, traction, driver, track, external conditions, etc.

Its simple yet effective...
I plugged in FJT's WHP numbers from D-series.org,
http://www.d-series.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21669
and his 1/4 mile times along with his weight, are shown in this thread... http://www.d-series.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21881

To sum it up, he has 266whp, and car weighs 2600lb. He ran a 12.44.
The 1/4 mile ET calculator estimated a 12.454505826295314

Id say thats good enough for guestamating.

Well, Nismo is absolutely correct, you have to figure all those factors in. According to that, I should running a 13.68, which IS possible for 158whp in a 2050lb car, but my tires said otherwise.

I don't know why that was so funny, but I almost pissed myself when I read that.... I must be stoned... :p

According to that calculator, when the Z is finished, it should run a...

12.25

We'll see. :crosses fingers:

I'm honestly surprised that the 1.5 months this thread has been running.... nobody found any of my dyno charts. I only have like 3 different engine builds detailed with dyno charts on the site....... they shouldn't be hard to find.

there is a b20 nonvtec in town that runs 15.4's in a 2nd gen integra. not too bad for just a stock crv engine
[post=524560]Quoted post[/post]

That's what I have but in a 1992 VX Hatchback with a GSR tranny and Phantom Grip. I use to have a Si in it. My best time for the 1/8 is a 9.24.

phantom grip sucks- i would have stuck with the si tranny- if you were going to use an lsd go oem i wouldnt mind air jockeys helectal ctr lsd =) Cal you know hs is full of lazy asses to lazy to dig- you need to post links and some times thats not enough , from there you would just need to redirect this page to load to the dyno charts lol

I have a B18A1 in a CRX Si.. LS trans, I/H/E.. Should run about a 15.5 or better.
I haven't run it in the Quarter mile yet, but in the 8th mile I pulled a 9.9@71mph. That was on crappy tires, too.

i heard the b20vtec aren't that reliable at all
you can't use them as a daily driver
and i thought the lsvtec wasn't realiable

I have a friend that has a daily driver B20 bottom end and a B16 head he steady runs mid to high 13's, your statement is NOT true.

It cam with the tranny and I only paid $550 for it all. I am thinking about getting a real LSD for the Si tranny and selling the GSR one

14.5 1/4 on a 00 civic coupe full interior
b20z w/ gsr head (stock bottom and head)
gsr tranny
skunk 2 im w/stock tb
stage 2 clutch
and basic bolt-on
170 whp 131 tq

not a bad setup, but your ET is WAAAY too high. That setup should be netting you at least a 14 flat. At least, thats my take...is it tuned at all, or are you just running a P72?

Here is my time from the last event at E-town in the November.
R/t ---- .649
60' ---- 2.170
330 ---- 6.191
1/8 ---- 9.547
MPH ---- 72.97
1000 ---- 12.461
1/4 ---- 14.933
MPH ---- 91.03

I'm pretty satisfied. My set-up is a bone stock JDM B20B motor/B16A2 tranny (NONVTEC), stock headers, stock GS-R clutch kinda worn, intake filter on the throttle body, FP regulator, and 15inch Falken Ziex 512 tires at 20 psi. My car is a 92 4dr LX full interior and weighed in at 2416lbs with out me and 2572lbs with me in it. I'm pretty sure my car weighs less but I ain't have the time to clean some tools and things out the trunk and back seats.

nice...that runs even with my prelude (on 60R15 tires...youd smoke me on my street tires)

I had a regular LS/VTEC, not CRVTEC. I just though I throw my time in here.
-B18a bottom end, ITR pistons, arp rod bolts, head studs
-micro-polished crank
-ITR intake manifold
-Walbro 255lph, fuel pump, AEM fuel filter, aftermarket fuel rail
-AEM intake, DC sport 4-2-1 header, Apex'i N1 cat-back exhaust
-P28 ECU, VTEC@5200 rpm
-ITR tranny, LSD(of course)
This was installed in a 97 Civic 4dr, with full interior, with suspension Tech springs, 16" Nippon racing wheels w/Yokohama AVS ES100 tires.
I ran 14.82, 2.56 60ft, at 96.5 mph

Stock B16 head, new valve springs, retainers, sorry I left that out.

i dont see how the hell some of your times are so slow. like the crx hoping for 15.5 wtf! i had two runs at darlington last summer with 17s and crappy tires, full interior and the spare tire in a vx hatch and ran a 15.2 and a 14.9 the second time with a b18b i/h/e. that was the first time on the track for me.

B20 Vtec

I ran a 12.98 at 101.3mph at sacramento raceway in Ca. I have a stock bottom end with a GSR head ported and polished, with Buddy Club SPec III Cams, ls Tranny and a p30 ecu, with a apexi Vtec controller
I ran it with bogards slicks and I still think I can run alot faster,
I don't know why some people are have low times and are running only 14s that I don't understand

Yeah I ran the 1/4 mile in 14 sec. Brought back a dead thread in 8 months. Made an ass of myself in 1 post.
