none of yous is old enough to remember the ORIGINAL street fighter....then they came out with Street Figter I

I still own my TG16

Missed this earlier... and YES I am old enough to remember the original Street Fighter.

By the way- TG16 is super new school compared to the crap I played on as a kid.

Not the street fighter that first came out with M.Bison and the rest....but the other one with only Ken and Ryu that was all the rave for the asain crowds back at the arcades (ya, i was the token whiteboy out of all my korean and chinese friends)

If you 'aint talkin Colecovision or Atari 2600
with a Commodore 64 that used pre-dos software...

You might wanna grab your diaper and bottle :p

Don't go there... I had the keyboard only that plugged into a tv called Commodore +4, with a cassette tape system to boot! :)

meh = old skewl.

i had a commodore 64 :)

Commodore for teh win!

I had an original 64 then moved to a 128. Had HUNDREDS of software titles, 99% of them pirated by one of the several groups back then. Razor 1911, PLC, you name it.

Ah you forget just how wonderful a 300 baud modem was.

And speaking of that... MODEM WARS :worthy:

Ya, I loved my old porn game for the commodore 64. Nothing like a pixelated picture of a naked girl that looks like it was done in MS Paint LOL.

that was so HOT back then...

what was that street fighter where you fought the guys from 4 countries...USA China Japan and UK?

My first ever game setup was I believe it was called an XT or maybe it was an AT.

anywho it had 2 5 and 1/4" drives and a monitor that had nobs you could turn to adjust the picture. My dad from what I've heard paid something like 1800 for it back in 82-83 A few years ago I pulled it apart. for only have 2 disc drives it had something like 6 cards that were a good 12-16" long. what for? I have no idea. the thing weighed something like 40lbs.
I remember playing games that had stuff to do with lines and dots. that was about it.

I'm 19, and played on a C64 too. My grandma had one, and we played this game called Steeplechase all the time. The disks were like paper thin. That computer ROCKED! lol.

I'm not all that good at fighing games, but I was pretty good with Ryu and Ken in Street Fighter II. I have Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PS1, and that game fucking RULES. I suck though.

I am pretty good with Hwarang in Tekken. You have to switch back and forth to Right and Left stance for all his different kicks.

What's funny, is that PS1 is the newest game system that I have, LOL. I should pull that badboy out and get some practice!

I own Capcom Generations 5 for the PSX. Includes perfect ports of "SF2, SF2', and SF2 Turbo"

Yes, it is imported, so Bison's name is Vega, Balrog's name is M. Bison, and Vega is named Balrog.

Sagat is Sagat

if sf2 was the game with the guys from 4 countries what was that game that had blanca, e. honda, dahslim, chun li....and blah blah blah in it?

That's SF2. SF2' (with the apostrophe) added in the four bosses). SF2 Turbo... name says it all. FAST FAST FAST and the moves have been modified.

Throwin up some pics (anything to strut my PSX leetness)

Yeah, some pics are blurry, whaddaya expect?!

street figher 1 had those 4 guys and the last boss was Sagat. hella hard to pull of the dragon punch too.

street fighter 2 had the 8 characters with blank, guile, chun li. etc.

street fighter 2 champion edition is the same but with the addition of adding the 4 bosses as playable.

street fighter 2 hyper fighting is the same as the champion edition, but with turbo; meaning they moved faster. it also added moves like air hurricane kicks and chun li was able to throw fireballs.

street fighter 2 hyper fighting turbo is the same but with added super moves. you get the little gauge and you fill up to do super shadow moves.

street fighter 2 new challenagers added 4 new characters: cammy, deejay, t hawk, and fei long.

street fighter 2 new challenagers turbo is the same as above with added super moves

street fighter 3 is a new series and also had 3 versions. the regular, fight for the future, and 3rd strike. each adding new things like parrying and stuff like that..

street alpha 3 is the best. it makes all the characters avaliable except fei long, dee jay, and t hawk. however, it also adds extra characters like evil ryu, and shin akuma.

Remember how damn near impossible Chun Li's fireball move was? They had to change it so it could be pulled off!

mvcs is a good game, but its too repeative. well at least the people i see play use the same characters; storm, doctor doom, cable, magneto, and sentinel. people always use them in some variation and they do the same thing over and over. and eventually 1 person will get lucky and win over the other.

the simple fact that there is way mroe characters and the fact you use 3 at a time means it is shitloads less repetitive then the normal sf games lol

not sure what your getting at :p
