Ok, so I was able to pick my block up today from my machine shop. They honed, bored, hot tanked, notched, and polished my crank. The head (which im not gonna use cuase my valves are bad so I have to buy all new valvetrain) was hot tanked and had a 3-angle valve job (friend P&P it). It only cost $450..I was very shocked. They also hung my pistons and rods. They had to machine a 15th off each side of the Tuner Toy rods to make them fit in the CP pistons. Thats a heads up to TT FIX YOUR RODS! So anyways, ill let the pictures sum it up.
Think thats enough notching? lol

Them are the same rods that I was thinking of getting, but do you have to machine them to fit all aftermarket pistons. I was thinking of running SRP 10.5:1 or the CP 10.5:1 compression in my d16z6 motor.
