and US accords are somewhat different. Like back in the early 90s - the Legend was basically an accord. And an older Accord at that. That didn't stop them from selling, globally, the Honda Accord and Honda Legend.

Even better are the stupid things that Toyota does. Toyota used to have like 80 cars in it's inventory because of all the global market shit that they had their hands in. and ES is a Camry with leather seats and all. And some Camries are Crowns, and Crowns are Avalons, and Cressidas were Crowns in the final year, and Soarer 4 doors in the early years. Then Lexus took over with the SC series while Toyota in Japan stuck with Soarers. And don't even get me going on the Corolla thing.

Argh.

Corolla has no definate meaning. BUT a "Corolla" is some Japanese artform of placing flower petals around genitalia.

In Japan the Corolla has come in different flavors. It was a corporate plan to allow design students to get their designs onto the market. Kinda like Nissan's Sentra project in the late 80s early 90s. (Except those Sentras were actually Pacifica school designs, that's another history lesson for later (When I get all the details)). Levins and Truenos (Lightning and Thunder, in Japanese) were divided into all sorts of models that were very different from each other. If you wanted a corolla in the 80s you could get them as wagons, AWD wagons, 2 door RWD cars, 2 door hatchbacks in FWD, 4 door FWD models and of course the AE92 2d coupe. The Corolla project continued, but more sublime in the 90s. They tried the design principle with the Yaris / Sprinter. (Tercel / Paseo for most of us (A sideline to a sideline, the Paseo is a Paseo in the world market. It was one of few worldmarket cars we got)) The Corolla has since then levelled out, and they are all FWD now, with some wagons and AWD offerings.

These students are now dedicated to concept cars and concept programs.

Keep in mind this is Europe. Everything is more expensive. And gas is ridiculous.

M's are cheaper in Europe, no ?

It's the taxes that gotta suck. I couldn't imagine living somewhere where like, 50 percent of what I make goes to the government. Shit, I'm at like 30ish% right now and I'm ready to take hostages.

Just wait till stupid america elects obama. the porch monkies will be rich. us hard working bastards will be poor. YAY!

HAHAHAHHAHA TURN to the DARK SIDE

You know that all the conservative sites are talking about Ron Paul now ? Holy hell, it's the end of the world.

Either choice, you're looking at more illegal benefits in the next 4 years, more of a social security stalemate, and more debt - And then a pull out in the Middle east.

I sent a concerned letter to my district representative about Americas slide into a socialist shit hole, where freedom, justice, and capitalism take a back seat to giving help to those who dont deserve shit.

I blame affirmative Action.

blame yourself and your neighbors for being stupid and electing stupidity. ultimately, its OUR fault that the one hope we had to save us did shit in the primaries

your not looking at all of the taxes you pay.

keep trsck of everything you bought, add up sales tax, property tax, vehicle registration tax,
then add in the tax thats included in gas prices, income tax (federal and/or local)

i guarantee you get over 50%

Yeah, but I can't get that good of a deal on an M, and then I have to pay for the BMW service. Then I have to deal with someone wanting to steal my M. Besides, I don't want to be like every single american male over here, and buy the biggest, fastest, strongest sports car I can afford. I want something good on gas, and something that will last forever. I drive over 40k miles/yr, and I'm in the car for at least an hour to get to work, then an hour and a half to get home. If I end up getting a job somewhere else, it will only get worse.

Besides, have you ever paid for a new timing belt in a BMW? I'll take my honda, thanks.

I seriously spent a lot of time in car dealerships, and a lot of time testdriving. I get the most for my money with a honda accord. If I were to get a german car, I think it'd have to be an s3 hatch-back coupe. With quattro and dsg, but that would cost about 45k EUR, and it wouldn't be as clean or as fuel efficent.

Just got my call-back from the dealership. It's going to cost me a lot less for the #3 (sport with navi)
23988.15 Euros = 35658.385 U.S. dollars total financed price (I'll probably go with 54 month@4.9)
