and US accords are somewhat different. Like back in the early 90s - the Legend was basically an accord. And an older Accord at that. That didn't stop them from selling, globally, the Honda Accord and Honda Legend.
Even better are the stupid things that Toyota does. Toyota used to have like 80 cars in it's inventory because of all the global market shit that they had their hands in. and ES is a Camry with leather seats and all. And some Camries are Crowns, and Crowns are Avalons, and Cressidas were Crowns in the final year, and Soarer 4 doors in the early years. Then Lexus took over with the SC series while Toyota in Japan stuck with Soarers. And don't even get me going on the Corolla thing.
