I'm seriously thinking about buying an accord now. I've been to the dealership, and I've had two offers made. I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time, that's a chunk of change out of my wallet, so I just need to bounce the ideas back and forth.
My dilemma is the choice of the models I'm looking at.
1: 30 year anniversary Accord
No navigation system available, no bluetooth, no xenon lights, but it's only 25,800EUR -19%
2: Executive Accord
Has everything for about 33,500EUR -19%
3: Accord Sport with navi
Includes everything but leather, touch screen Navigation, bluetooth, super premium stereo, upgraded suspension. 30,200EUR - 19%
I'm not even thinking about getting a gasoline engine, so it's all 2.2l i-CTDi Diesel. 6-speed manual transmission, 140HP@4k with 250ft/lb@2k. They all get 30 mpg city, and 50 mpg, so that's a non-issue.
I'm leaning more towards the #2 or #3 options, but I'm really considering a 30th anniversary, but the fact that it's an 'anniversary' model is driving me away from it. But I keep coming back because it's such a good deal. (used in the 'buying a new car' sense of the word).
I'm about to the point where I start rolling dice, or have the dealer set out the papers, and I just close my eyes and chose one. But I know if I do that, I'll be sad, because I want #3, but I've never driven an accord with the sport suspension (American TSX) and I have no idea how it feels.
Please give me your thoughts.
