Chevy cruze is a waste of money. Look up the engine specs, and you'll notice that it may be similar to what the civic has. I look at one the other day and all it is, is a small malibu.

Could she get financing from a credit union?
I got my becu loan before I shopped for a car and then commenced shopping. That way I could do private or dealership. Also I didn't have to fill out any paperwork at the dealer since I filled it out before, and it took 20 minutes to sign paper work and order my car.
Get this, if you leave the car in first and never ride the bumper of the car in front of you.... ready for it...... You never have to push in the clutch!
To many people ride asses and like the nonstop stop/go/stop/go There's no need for it unless traffic is fully blocked. Just give yourself enough room to always coast slightly.
depends on the car and the engine/clutch. on a stock honda, the commute is fine. anything modified gets annoying. it's like doing one legged squats all day.I must be getting old cause I enjoy having an automatic for my daily commute.
I guess driving 45 minutes each way gets a little old after 12 years.
Only time I prefer a manual is when I'm looking for some fun. And too much fun on your daily commute gets you into too much trouble.
