I am in the process of planning an engine swap in my carb'd '84 Hatchback race car and have read everything I can get my eyes on online (and two printed books), but still have a questions on the source parts for the FI conversion.
I've lined up an '88 Integra as the donor car, but will the fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel lines fit into the hatchback? If not, what are some better donor cars for these parts? Our current car is stripped out so I would think that access to everything should be pretty easy... Can the lines be made from auto store fuel hose?
The only rule we have to comply with is money: we have a $275 budget for this conversion and the integra cost us ~$200... (this is a 24 hours of LeMons car with a blown stock engine)
If you have any other tips and/or suspension stuff for sale, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks, Bill
