my check engine light is on, the code is 6 flashes and 1 long flash and it continues that way. civic dx motor. please help.

code 6 - ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

Check you thermostat and you coolant sensor... is your temp guaage rising??? is your fan turning on???

the fan comes on i think, the temp doesnt go up at all. thanks massey.
