changed gasket and still losing oil

I changed the valve cover gasket a few days ago and im still getting oil that is seeping through between the valve cover and block. did I miss something. Its a rubber gasket, so it said not to use any adhesive. I cleaned off all the surfaces before I put it on.

you might have a crack in the valve cover, or the head, take a closer look, and be sure to lube the corners by the cam gears and distributor on the gasket.

Your cover may be warped also.

use red hight temp i do and it dosn't leak

yea use some hondabond or some thing to seal..

I took it off and cleaned it again to make sure. seems some old oil was still there when I put the gasket on, giving it a way out. The car seems to perform a little better and im getting a little better mileage so i think it did the trick. Ill look into a sealant though, can't hurt, right?
