Check engine light Question

so my perlude's check engine light is on but when i start it up in the morning it Idles high an the check engine light is off an everytime a push the gas pedal the idl drops all the way down like its not getting gas then after about a minute the idle goes to normal an the check engine light comes on an the car is fine
Does anyone have any idea why this might be

It would be what the code says it is. Not to seem mean but you need to check the code first.
Its probably some sensor going out and you need to check the code

I'm not sure but I think your prelude has a flashing light on the ECU
but my thinking is based on it being OBD0

I dont see any clean old preludes in CA. The ones I see are a pathetic example and seems to be the car that gives off the typical ricer look. Ones I see all have a fart can and are lowered on rims that came from god knows where. 4 colors and two different body kits. Guys dont look old enough to drive and always have the BFF in the passenger seat. And once they see me....they come by and rev up on me. Silly Rabbit.....Trix are for kids
