Clutch Noise?

does anyone know why my clutch makes noise? i push it in and you cant hear anything but as soon as i let it out, it juss makes this nasty sounding noise... like a grinding in a way, car runs and drives fine... does anyone know? by the way its an 89 CRX HF

sounds like your release bearing, u say in runs ok, so the release bearing is most likly the prolem

i'd say throwout bearing.
