I'm on PS3, and i would not really say I'm very good at the game.
But it is really good for venting some aggression.
I like to hop on after working long hours, kill a bunch of people and go to sleep.
I am definately way late to the game though, I'm glad its still popular online.
I didnt finish the campaign, maybe 1/2 way, I just play FFA online.

You can add me, it's BrutalB83. And don't worry about being late to the party. CoD is one of the most popular series of games out there, so there's always going to be tons of people playing it. Shit, there's still tons of people playing the older versions (Modern Warfare 1 and 2, World at War, etc.). There's probably a lot more people still playing MW2 online then there are people playing new games that just came out.
So do you not like any other modes besides FFA? I play FFA a lot too, but the team games can be fun also. Team games are good for improving your win/loss ratio too. With a team game it's 50/50 shot of winning. In FFA you're fighting eight other one man teams, so chances of winning go down significantly (skill withstanding)...

i have a hard enough time seeing people on the game for some reason
its like having trex vision, i can only see them if there's movement, so it doesnt work out so well with me seeing teams members and trying to kill them
(really odd since i am playing on a 46" HD tv right, maybe i sit too close or something)
also not worried about win %'s or anything
just all about killing people and talking trash to people who are way better than me and kill me over and over again
i thoroughly enjoy calling people campers when they obviously are not, my favorite line is "what is your primary weapon a fucking tent?"
i also enjoy camping only when it really really pisses someone off and i get to kill them over and over again all the while claiming not to be camping (nuke town bunk bed room)
and telling asshole teenagers that the best part of them ran down their moms thigh and/or ass crack depending on how much of an asshole they are
i have amassed some "friends" on the game because they find me to be hysterical and entertaining
i also tend to constantly talk throughout a match even if no one else is talking
yea.... i'm that guy, constantly giving away my own location so people come to try and get me
i will also risk getting 0 kills for a whole round just to tomahawk people and then yell TAMAHAWKKKKKK!!!!!!
or just run around inside one house in nuketown and kill people and yell at them that "THIS IS MY HOUSE KIMOSABE"
i had to check that video and make sure my name wasnt on the losing list there
i have had some really bad team matches where people will be like damn, 0 kills, shit even a chimp should get at least one kill, but they have 3000 games compared to my less than 100 at the time
i also accuse people of teaming up when they are not
or using cheat codes or hacking when they aren't
i make it a very awkward social experiment
my new favorite is pro hacker, and watching people get shot by their own machine gun, or blown up by their own claymore
and a big fuck you to those guys that use drops as bait, or throw them off the map or on top of buildings so i wander around aimlessly for extended periods of time getting killed trying to figure out wtf is going on
and if you see me trying to shoot down a chopper, and its not YOUR chopper...
then leave me alone and let me shoot it down
its one of my hobbies and i really really enjoy scrapping flying chunks of metal
i also like implanting grenades in peoples torso or heads for a kill, way better than it blowing up, and shooting people who are using the second chance perk
it might not give me any points, but its always fun to put 2 in the head and then teabag them

no it always happens. I've hit people square in the chest with a smg, get hit markers, then they turn, put one shot on me and I die.
Connection is king in CoD. If you're lagging at all, then you're fucked. I've been fairly lucky with BLOPS so far, but the lag issues are infamous...

either i did it too soon, or they fixed it
when the match went to begin it said i had no money to wager
i was told in a game chat that everything was reset even the player card
or else i would have blew the 40k on unlocking all the layers on the card
ooh well
but for future advice, whats a good thing to do/buy before i prestige so i'm not wasting anything more than i have to, anything besides playercard levels/backgrounds etc?

Nope, pretty much everything having to do with your custom classes resets. Primaries, secondaries, equipment, perks, etc. You're basically starting all over again. The only things that stick around are anything having to do with your playercard (layers, pieces, backgrounds, and your emblem itself)...
