Last night was fun. That dude that was talking mad shit in different accents the whole time was entertaining. And then there was that one guy who had a sweet tomahawk kill on you while you were trying to pick up a care package...
Haha, no. It wasn't really that epic, probably more annoying than epic. He was most of the way through opening a care package and I ran up and t'hawked him.
I do always try to get those crazy tomahawk kills that you see on YouTube, but no success yet...
I've been forcing myself to use pistols more lately, and I've gotten a lot better with them. If I'm using a fully auto primary, then I typically go with the Makarov (I think it's the most well-rounded in terms stats) with extended mags. If I'm using a sniper rifle or shotgun or any non-auto primary, then I use the CZ75 with the full auto upgrade. If you're having trouble killing someone with the primary it's nice to just be able to whip that out and light them up, lol...
I just can't get in to the China Lake. It just seems really clunky, like it takes forever to aim and fire. Typically, by the time I get a shot off with it the person I was shooting at has already mowed me down with their FAMAS and is running away. I don't know if you played MW2, but the Thumper in that game was much easier to use IMO...
Ah, okay. Well it's basically the same thing (2 shot grenade launcher with a wooden stock), but in MW2 firing it felt the same as firing an assault rifle with the noob tube equipped. The China Lake just seems awkward though, like it requires a lot more planning...

Just started playing recently. I only play when my roommate is around, cause it's his system. I was playing with an automatic rifle for a while. I sucked. Then I was like "Hey, is there a shotgun in this game?" then I got the spas-12, and my k/d went from like 2-12 to like 12-6 lol
I prefer the Stakeout myself. With Sleight of Hand you can shoot it fairly quickly and it's got good range (for a shotgun) and power, and it's pretty accurate with the grip. The SPAS is cool, but I hate that it sometimes takes 2-3 shots to kill sometimes. That's why I silence it and use Ghost, because I prefer to sneak up and take people from behind with it...

I never really played hardcore much, but since I noticed it was a campfest nowadays I decided to work on my sniping skills. Damn do I love it now! Haha I'd noticed plenty of good spots to snipe from on various levels, but never used them much since its basically a run and gun game in core, and of course the kill cams don't help. The spot I've been using with the most success is on Jungle way off in a back corner with a clear view of the little look out point in the upper village. Use one of the artillery guns as cover and they run right past you. I got like a 9-0 run before they figured out that it was a place to avoid altogether. Much like a real sniper it scared the shit out of them and made them change their tactics, cut the battlefield in half basically, and made them easy pickings for my team elsewhere. I'll post some screenshots of where Im talking about.
