D16z6 Redline Stock

What is the safest maximum RPM (that is worthwhile revving too) on an internally stock D16Z6(1993 sohc vtec out of a Del Sol, 110k miles)....my modifications will include: test pipe, 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent Cat-back with OBX canister, short ram intake, chipped ECU, vtec at 5100rpms, red line is at 8500 but I don't think I will be going there anytime soon

the stock redline is 7200 8500 is where the tach stops for that engine

no higher than 7600. you will float the valves any more than that.
if you want mor revs, get valve train work

d16z6 is the sohc vtec right?? it's almost 5 in the morning in my area and came back from a night of drinking and can't really think straight right now, eheh.

I figured the valves would float after about 7500, thanks pissedoffsol...
