well made PSA
saw it a few days ago
well put together and definitely has an impact (pun intended)
what gets me is the "since 2000 speeding has killed a classroom of our children"
is this really a big enough issue that it needs its own PSA?
now I'm not really sure what constitutes a "classroom" so I'm estimating it in the 20-30 range
which then leads me to question what hasn't killed 20-30 kids in the past 14 years
that's only 1.4 - 2.1 per year
now granted this is Ireland and they don't have the population we do
but still 20 to 30 out of 4.589 million is only 0.00000435824 to 0.00000653737 of the population... OVER 14 YEARS!
When I was in high school a kid two grades ahead of me barreled into a stopped train at 70 mph on a residential 25mph road. killed himself and three friends. I told someone I hope he's burning in hell for killing his friends. he called me a dickhead. I thought it was funny.
What I guess matters when they say a classroom of kids, is one town or county's worth of kids then it would be a lot. If its a country or the worlds then its not too much.
I wish instead of speed it would say inexperience. Although shit happens to the experienced sometimes.
To me the biggest problem I see is people with their fucking eyes on their phones instead of the road. 99% of the time the shit can wait.
