I think what he is trying to say is that he made porn with his grandpa and direct by yelling though his exaust.

Lots of ignorance on here.

Lambda is a common unit of measure in tuning and common in chemistry. ie. 1 lambda=stoich, or for gasoline engines, 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio.

"American English" is not always the same as the world/other English. A car hood=bonnet, a windshield=windscreen, driveshaft=propeller shaft, fender=wing, etc.

Anyways, try what PRPrimo suggested, and also check your wiring(make sure the TPS isn't wired backwards).

Thank you for saying exactly what I was thinking.

I forgot to clarify; what I meant by backwards TPS wiring is make sure the MAP and TPS plugs aren't switched! Check with the wiring too though.

I did this by accident before on my first swap(had MAP and TPS plugs switched); same symptoms.

beat me to it.

also
tires = tyres
another very common one.

lambda is on most exhaust analizers, 1 being the number you want to be closest to.

but 1 on an exhaust analizer for lambda means 14.7:1. being more or less than one means rich or lean

That's called stoichiometric; and the stoichometric value varies with what fuel you're using. 1.0 lambda simply just means "stoich"(for gasoline, this would be 14.7, but methanol would be 6.4). A stoichiometric ratio just means that it's a chemically balanced ratio.

Stoich is also not always optimal, pe. For NA engines it's usually tuned to around 12-13:1, and turbo is usually around 11:1 ratio(all gasoline). Chances are if you're tuning for stoich and looking for performance, you'll be running too lean.
