ok so instead of building the h series box have been thinking of going the b series but whats the main appeal? is it just ratios?

there are more B series transmissions and transmission parts available, they tend to be more durable than H series trans, and there are more choices of gear ratios.

ive since found a site Mfactory - they do different ratios and custom gearsets for the H series box!!

just my two cents here... but the b series box is directly shifted via shift rods... a direct connection to the shift forks (mostly) and the h series box is shifted via cables... making it a little less direct as far as shift "feel" and engagement....
