well if thats all your wanting both car will perform the same so just pick the one you like the best,, i like the ek myself

EG hands down. OBD1 platform, great for tuning, nice body design, lightweight. Choice of many. I've owned 4 eg hatches myself and I currently own my fourth now.

EGs are cool. EKs are cooler. I say it comes down to what motor you want/goals and your emission laws...

i dont have emmissions in florida and im not sure but im goin with a b16 or d16. i like the eg a hell of alot better but i didnt no if the ek was lighter or just things that would make it better than the eg

The EG is lighter, and easier to tune since it's wired for OBD1. I say go with an EG hatch...

if emissions arnt a problem, you can go OBD1 in the EK. if you liked it more for some reason. idk i like it just a tad better thant he EG. maybe it's more areodynamic?
